Show Bountiful By RITA BROWN There is a word which is much used. It is a four letter word but it is not a bad word. It is Time. If time could be controlled con-trolled we would be as Joshua of biblical fame. If we could stop the turning of the earth we could bend time to our will. Would we want to though? Think what would happen to human time if the earth turned faster or slower in its spin around the sun or its spin on its axis. There are many cliches about time. We talk about time the way we speak about the weather. We can't change either one much. When we are anticipating anticipat-ing anything good. Time, it seems, creeps by on lead feet. When we wish it would creep by it flies, it seems, with the speed of light. When birthdays birth-days roll around it would be nice to forget time is passing. We could stop the clock which measures time but it would make no difference, time would still pass. There is much said about a time machine which would make possible time travel There is no such machine, we cannot go backward or forward. for-ward. This is our time. We must make every moment count so we will not regret the passing of time. Time is our most important im-portant blessing. We must use it wisely.
