Show Chamber Awaits Rep. Hansen Talk 1st Congressional District in 1980. He presently serves on the Interior Insular Affairs Committee, Sub-Committee on Water and Power Resources, Re-sources, Sub-Committee on Public Lands and National Parks, and the Committee on Standards of Official Conduct. Congressman Hansen's public service includes four terms in the Utah House of Representatives. During the last two years he served as Speaker of the Utah house. He has served on many committees commit-tees in the House, including the Legislative Management Committee, Constitutional Revision Committee, the Governor's Gov-ernor's Council on Emergency Preparedness, and the Executive Execu-tive Appropriations Committee. Com-mittee. HE HAS served three times as City Councilman for Farm-ington, Farm-ington, Utah, including one year as acting Mayor. He has also served two years in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Congressman Hansen was born August 14, 1932 in Salt Lake City, and attended the Salt Lake public schools, Graduated Gra-duated from the U of U in 1960. HE MARRIED the former Ann Burgoyne of Salt Lake City, and they are the parents of five children. JAMES V. HANSEN James V.
