Show BLAINE BETTER The Physician Says there is no Occasion for Dally Visits I WASHINGTON Dec 24 Elaine rested comfortably last night and was better this i morning The patient is now getting along so comfortably that his physician Dr Johnson thinks there is no longer any occasion for himself and Dr Wyatt to make early morning visits The members mem-bers of the family were out today doing Christmas shopping Elaine is getting along very well indeed said Dr Johnston at 7 oclock this even e Q > J ing The physicians regard the condition condi-tion of their patient better than it been I I anytime for the past fortnight The increase in-crease in his strength is the most encouraging encour-aging features and gives members of the family ground for renewed hope So 1 much improved is he that a few callers I were received at the house today I Washington papers have ceased publishing pub-lishing extended accounts of Blames condition I Elaine was reported by Dr Johnston I tonight to have passed the best day he has had for some time past Dr Johnston tme paid his usual 2 oclock visit and finding I Blames condition so satisfactory he did not make his last visit for the day until 10 p m when he found no particular change in the patients condition At a late hour tonight the lights of the second floor were dimly burning and it was evident evi-dent that the family had retired early I At 3 this Sunday morning the Elaine mansion presented every appearance of the favorable condition noted last night I having been maintained Lights are I burning very dimly but remain the same I as at midnight |
