was at its height the engine was turned loose The fire proved too much for the engine however and after a long and vain effort the engine was hauled off and the lire was allowed to burn itself out This engine is not designed to put out big fires and the test given it lat nicht was hardly n fair one as only an engine throwing a stream powerful enough ISt knock down the boxes boards and barrels
