made for privileges to sell viridus articles of merchandise mer-chandise at the corning fair whereupon it vas resolved that no selling privileges I all be allowed inside the exposition building build-ing but that such ing privileges be given out ide the bniidin provided they should not infringe upon privileges already let I On motion it was decided that prices for I advertising spaces be fixed as follows I Inside building 0 prrfoot front corners ners to be reserved aim piices lixed hereafter here-after by committee on fair ground Outside Out-side building seventyfive cents per foot front i againstthe building or on any of the corners contiguous thereto frontage to be reckoned the long way and fifty cents per foot front for other parts of the ground with selling privileges double above prices outside building only i A communication from Mr Arthur Stayner was read stating that he was authorized by Dr 1 E Talmage to inform the boaid that so far as the service required of him in analyzing sugar beet juices submitted sub-mitted to him was concerned he would cheerfully perform it without charge and that the Utah Sugar company would pay whatever expense would bo attached the more laborious part of extra tingtiie juices and preparing them for the chemists manipulation ma-nipulation Received and offers accepted with thanks Governor Thomasieported d that Prof H C Peterson had generously concented to act a chairman of the picture hanging committee Services accepted with thanks The following named were agreed upon as the committee en bald contests and typewriting contest made of which there were great number included from three to eight animals and some as high as twenty and also that indications were good for a big display of home manufactured articles On motion the Secretary was instructed t request the newspapers to publish tho fact that any meritorious article of home manufacture whether mentioned in the premium award list or not will receive n suitable Jti KAIK NOTES The fair opens on Wednesday Oto rat 2 r-at 12 oclock noon All articles should be entered and brought to the fair grounds if possible as early us Monday September 31 and no article will be admitted after Tuesday October 2 at U I oclock excepting Mowers and live stock which are allowed up to 1 a I of the opening day o entry fee is charged for exhibits but before making entry a ticket of annual membership costing 51 1 must be purchased pur-chased and this will entitle a person to admission ad-mission to all part of the groundsand I to make any number of entries The regular admission is 23 cents children i I I chil-dren under 12 years 10 cents The railroads have special rates t exhibitors I exhib-itors and for the transportation of exhibits exhib-its the saDe as aieusually mude
