" FARMINGTOIJ FIRE TRUCK The Farmington Fire 6 - Department is proud of a 5 brand new fire truck. It was J made by the American La t France Company of New : York. The truck bears a De- ; troit diesel engine and pumps : 1,500 gallons of water per minute, has a 2V4 inch deck S nozzle and all of the latest fire equipment for fighting fires. J FIRE CHIEF Don Ball, I captains, Paul DeJong and 5 Mark Breezoff, flew to New i York and drove the new i pumper back to Farmington. The new pump will increase the response time and provide better fire fighting capabilities capabili-ties to the city. "SINCE THE Farmington Fire Department has received this new truck, it has been used for three structural fires, accident washdowns and other fire related emergencies," Chief Ball said. "The new unit cuts response time down by minutes and has greater fire extinguishing ability.
