Show Exercise Time For Sr. Citizens The Golden Years Center has a special time for swimming swim-ming and aqua-trim exercises. exer-cises. There has been a change in the time, senior citizens can now take advantage of the Bountiful Indoor Pool each Tuesday and Thursday between the hours of 10 a.m. and 12 noon. A DISCOUNT price of $1 admits ad-mits each person to two hours of swimming and aqua-trim exercises with the use of the exercise room. This class 1 begins Tuesday, Sept. 20. , The center is happy to announce an-nounce the newest staff 1 members, Mrs. Audrey Class , has been hired as a volunteer coordinator. She will be ' recruiting and training volun- teers to serve in the center as hostesses, in the nutrition ' department, with the friendly i visitors and with the telephone ( reassurance program . i THE "Pros and Cons" of food additives will be dis-' dis-' cussed by Ruth Ann Fisher on Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 12:45 p.m. Everyone is welcome to 1 this special program each Wednesday. The annual fall foliage tour t to Monte Cristo, with luncheon i at Sweetwater at Bear Lake, returning through colorful Logan Canyon is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 24. This is always al-ways a specially delightful trip with many people taking this all day trip for $12. THE MONTHLY birthday party for all September people will be celebrated on Sept. 26, during the lunch hour. There is always a special birthday cake. The luncheon usually held at Viewmont High School will be held in the center on Thursday, Thurs-day, Sept. 29 with the meal served at 11:30a.m., followed by a program arranged by Grant Peterson. Aldin Hayward will serve as master of ceremonies. Be sure to make your reservations not later than the day before. |
