Show Golden Years Center Events The Golden Years Center needs the reservations for the New Year'sEve party immediately. immedi-ately. There will be a buffet luncheon on Dec. 31, instead of Jan. 31, as erroneously printed in the Clipper last week. THE LUNCHEON will be served from 12 noon until 1 p.m. and the program will feature fea-ture the Scotch Bagpipe group. Later there will be bingo and a white elephant gift exchange. The center will be closed Dec. 25 and 26. and there will be no classes until Jan. 5. IRIS LEE will give the book review at I p.m., Jan. 5. The book is "The Rise of Roosevelt." : There are still vacancies in the wood carving class which will begin Jan. 1 2 at 9 a.m. Ellis Ow en, the instructor, will give special help to anyone who is not familiar with the wood carving, on Jan. 8 at 9 a.m. There are also vacancies in the tole painting class which meets every Tuesday at 9 a.m. If anyone any-one is interested in either of' these classes, please contact the center and sign up right away. SQUARE dancing will be held in the afternoon, beginning begin-ning in January, check at the desk for any further information informa-tion or call 295-3479. There will be no night square dancing. The senior citizens of the center wish a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all. IF THERE are new senior citizens in the area, all are invited in-vited to come to the center for lunch and fellowship and to take part in classes.
