Show Art Membership Party Glade Peterson, founder and director of the Utah Opera Company will be the guest performer per-former and speaker at the annual membership party of the Bountiful-Davis Art Center. Cen-ter. The party will be held on Saturday, Oct. 9 from 7-9 p.m. at the Bountiful-Davis Art Center, 2175 South Main, Bountiful. A BUFFET dinner will be served and there will be time to enjoy the first exhibit of the season, "LeConte Stewart Festival: Utah Landscape Painting Today." Mr. Peterson Peter-son will perform at 8 p.m., accompanied by Claudia Flan-dro Flan-dro Ward, after which he will discuss the coming Utah Opera season and answer questions. Glade Peterson is a native Utahn who has represented Utah in the major opera houses of the world. After leaving Utah in 1956 to pursue his studies stu-dies in New York, Glade even- I ' - ' j GLADE PETERSON tually moved to Europe where he achieved an international career in the world of grand opera. In 1976, he returned to his native state and founded ' the Utah Opera Company of which he is the general director. COST FOR the event is $20 per person which includes the buffet and a one year membership member-ship in the center. Guests may attend the membership party tu for $5 per person for the buffet.
