Show Wildcat Ways lly VALERIE ALLISON Energy is high around Woods Cross this week. Once more the Wildcats are looking forward to showing the neighbors neigh-bors who is number one. T he Vikings will be coming over Friday evening at 7:30 for a varsity football game. There will be a pep rally at 1:45 p.m. T he junior varsity and sophomore sopho-more teams play on T hursday at 3. The junior varsity team will be at Viewmont, and the sophomores at home. Good luck to these teams. THE GIRLS' tennis team will have a match tomorrow against Davis on our courts at 3:30. The golf team goes against Viewmont tomorrow, as well, at 2:30. The cross country team is at Bountiful, and Davis is here for a volleyball vol-leyball game tomorrow. Both games begin at 3:30. The Weber State Band Competition is tomorrow We anticipate that our school v. ill continue to carry their winning tradition in this area, and wish them luck. On Oct. 13, they will defend their title in Davis Cup Competition. Please support sup-port the band in their competitions. competi-tions. WOODS CROSS has added a new program to their fall sport curriculum. For the firt time in the history of the school, Woods Cross has a waterpolo team. On Monday. Oct. 4, they will play Granger at the Bountiful Recreation Center at 3. Woods Cross will always be on top, as long as the student-body student-body supports its teams and organizations. |
