AT THE same time, the council unanimously approved the appointment of Mark R Falcsh. of l-indon ( itv, Ctah County, as Ccntcr-vilk Ccntcr-vilk City Administrator, tic replaces led Anderson who h-d been hired by the city in August but left the post three weeks later for a similar job in Colorado. The new city manager will receive an annual salary of $:h,000, plus $100 per month car allowance for use of his private pri-vate vehicle on city busincss--a total of J29.200. MAYOR NEIL L. Blackburn Black-burn said the city administrator administra-tor was selected from among more than 50 applicants for the job Mr. Palcsh had previously served as city administrator ol Lindon City for four years. He is a graduate of Bngham Young University in public administration with emphasis in state and local government. He also attended Parks Co -lege of Aeronautical Technology Technol-ogy of St. Louis and has attended seminars in personnel person-nel administration, financing, accounting, urban management manage-ment labor relations, administrative adminis-trative behavior, and public issues and administration. j)F IS a captain in the Utah Air National Guard as a navi-gaioron navi-gaioron the KC-97Land KC- I35A aircraft. He has been a private pilot for the past 13 years. Mr. Palcsh enjoys writing, painting, playing the clarinet, flying small aircraft and sports. He is a member of the National City Management association; Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association; and is a member of the board of directors of the American Society for Public Administrators. MR. WRIGHT is a native of Bountiful and graduated from Davis High in 1945. He graduated gradu-ated from Idaho State University Univer-sity with a bachelor of science degree in 1949 and from the University of Utah in 1958 with a master of science degree. de-gree. He taught school in Idaho and Las Vegas until 1962 when he became representative of a texbook publisher until last year. He is presently teaching mathematics at Millcrcek Junior High in Bountiful.
