Show Bountiful Lions Club members raised nearly $5,000 during their recent annual two-day turkey shoot, according accord-ing to Lions Club President Dale Clayville. HE SAID more than 1,000 attended the shoot which was held at the Lions Club range in the foothills of the Wasatch Mountains near the "B" east of the city. "Participants in the shoot took home 700 turkeys, 300 hams and a variety of merchandise awards and prizes, including a color television set," he said. CLAYVILLE said money earned by the Lions Club turkey shoot will help landscape lands-cape the city's municipal golf course club house this spring and put in a sprinkler system, grass and shrubs. Winneisof the shoot were: Darrell Pack, TV; E. Johnson, John-son, hunting knife; Fran Seegmiller and Bob Beal, ice chest; T.D. Simpson, gas barbecue; Mr. Seegmiller, Britt Bergeson, Harry Gerlach and G.L. Florence, shot guns; N. Parkin and Dorris Blackham, rifles. |
