BAKER Exchange Vows Derbie Lea Draper, daughter of Paul and Nancy Draper of Bountiful, became the bride of Marlin M. Baker, son of Marlin W. and Evona Baker of Blackfoot, Ida., on Dec. 1, 1979. A RECEPTION honoring the couple, hosted by the bride's parents, was held that evening at the Carillon Reception Center. . The bride wore a gown with a Queen Elizabeth style neck and a pearl and lace trim fitted bodice. The skirt was a full circular with an overlay of chiffon trimmed in lace. She wore a fingertip veil with the headpiece accented by oearls. She' carried a bouquet f white carnations and pink uses complemented with Stephanotis. DIANE DRAPER, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Other bridesmaids were Ashley Addison, Connie Baker and Carrie Baker. They wore floor length, rose pink qiana gowns and carried bouquets of white and burgundy bur-gundy carnations with pink roses. Flower girls were Jana Baker and Alisha Elliott. They carried baskets of pink daisies. Roger Rigstad performed the duties of best man with Paul Seely as head usher. Other groomsmen were Kevin Baker, Jerry Pacheco, Gilbert Rodriguez and Rick Bruno. Justin Lund was the ring bearer. ASSISTING with the gifts were Michael and Veronica Tudor. Julie Carruth attended attend-ed the guest book. Terry Frazier and Desiree Phillips served refreshments. Background music for the evening was provided by David Bonham. Prenuptial parties were given by Sally Peck, Mary Lou Phillips, Bonnie Elliott, Mary Lou Elliott, Sandy Parish and Dawn Chapman. THE BRIDE graduated from Bountiful High School and attended the University of Utahwhsre she received a degree in secretarial training. train-ing. The groom attended Kearns High School and graduated from the College of Eastern Utah. After honeymooning to Lake Tahoe, Nev., the couple plan to make their home in Salt Lake City. |
