Julie led 1 1 delegation as they trough the beautiful f-- and lake dotted area fsuiirtsof the city of IE Utah group there f atipants of all ages, f-We a number of r "wheelchair" entrants and one man over 70-years of age. He . said he does not run to win now but just for the fun of it. Julie who will graduate from Utah State University in June with a degree in forestry, has won a number of races in marathons held in Utah during the five years she has been a student at Utah State. SHE IS the sixth child of her family to earn a college degree. Her brother Dan graduated from the University Univer-sity of Utah and specialized in oceanography in Santa Barbara, Bar-bara, Calif. Her oldest sister Suzanne H. Slingerland has her BA degree in high school teaching from the Brigham Young University. She is the mother of six children. MRS. CRAIG Barlow, (Sally) earned her college doctorate at the University of Utah and is employed at the Brigham Young University. Linda M. Hess has a degree in, library science and teaching from the U. of U. She is employed in the Salt Lake Library. Micheal Hess has his college degree from the U. of U. and is now a medical student at the U. of U. Medical School. Wally and Marjorie M. Hess are both former residents of Davis County. |
