Show Services Held Fri. Fabian Ortiz, 86, of Poca-tello, Poca-tello, Ida., died April 16, 1979 in Pocatello of natural causes. HE WAS born in Miono, Spain to Oronisio Ortiz and Ysusi Brijida Oletecochea on March 11, 1893. Married Hilda Margaret Lamb on June 21, 1953 in Pocatello, Ida. HE FORMERLY lived at 445 E. 775 N., Bountiful, member of American Legion, and Golden Gate Fraternal Order of Foresters, was in the retail furniture business for 30 years and member of the Baptist church. He is survived by his wife, Pocatello; step-sons, Charles A. Whitney, Pocatello, Ida.; Robert G. Burnett, Tom Ball, Texas; three step-daughters, Madeline Del Ricco, Palo Alto, Al-to, Calif.; Mrs. Hershel (Lois Irene) Stephens, Huntsville, Ala.; and Dorothy M. Lotshaw, Atlanta, Ga.; 11 step-grandchildren and 10 step-great-grandchildren. A grandson, Bill Whitney, preceded him in death. FUNERAL services were held on Friday, April 20 at 1 p.m. at Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary Chapel. Rev. John Roland officiated. Prelude and postlude music was by Jerri Oswald; vocal solo, Dora Flack, accompanied by Susan Johnson, "In My Father's House Are Many Mansions." Obituary and Scripture reading, Rev. John Roland; vocal solo, "Abide With Me, 'Tis Eventide" by Dora Flack accompanied by Susan Johnson; John-son; message and prayer, Rev. John Roland. Interment was in Centerville City Cemetery. Ceme-tery. PALLBEARERS were Charles Whitney, Jerry Whitney, Whit-ney, Gary Whitney, Robert Burnett and Dee Wayne Squire. Military honors by Baker Merrell Post Nine.
