THIS WEEK'S main attrac- tion was that it belonged exclusively to the women. Monday was smiles and sunshine day. The girls voted on the girl in their class that they thought most merited this award. The sophomore sunshine was Kelli Crowther, junior, Angie Sadler; and senior, Shari Hubbard. The girls also voted on the most preferred boy. Claiming this recognition was Jeff Anderson, Ander-son, sophomore; Jay Parkin, junior; and Gary Goodrich, , senior. Tuesday, hush fell over the school. It was a quiet day when each girl was given a daisy. She got to keep it until she talked to a boy. If she couldn't resist, she had to hand it over. The Don Juan who managed to collect the most flowers was named Mr. Irresistable. MANY OTHER activities were held including an auction, auc-tion, dress-up day, and a relay when boys tried their hand at such feminine arts as chang- ; ing diapers and applying make-up. Todav the "secret stud" was named. This was the man with : the best looking legs. Satur- . day night the starry-eyed : couples will gather once again to dance to the beat of Rosewood. The theme is ; "Castle of Dreams," the cost ;, is $3 per couple, and it will run from8:30-U:30. ON TUESDAY night, the girls volleyball team triumphed over Woods Cross, hopefully on their way to the region title. Also held on that night was the fall sports banquet in which the football team has honored, as a whole, as well as individuals. Thursday, the girls swim team traveled to Weber State College to participate in what they hoped to be a repeat performance per-formance of their last year's showing of first place in region. The Debate department was busy on Wednesday with a practice debate with View-mont View-mont and Davis, a legislative forum meet, then to end off their week, the Governor's Cub will be held at Cottonwood High School on Friday. |
