A reception will be held that evening in their honor at the Canterbury Reception Center in Bountiful. The formal line will be from 6-8:30 p.m. with dancing from 8:30-9:30 p.m. The parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. James Cannon and Mr. and Mrs. Kimball Jacobs. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Nelson. Layne is a 1984 graduate of Bountiful High and is currently a student at Weber State University. He served in the England Coventry mission. Debbie is a 1985 graduate of i Bountiful High. She is employed as an associate manager at Lemers Fashion Place. After a honeymoon to Park City DEBORAH R. CANNON LAYNE C. NELSON the couple will reside in North Salt Lake.
