Stella was born April 26, 1907 to Walter and Jennie Rushton of Hunter, Utah and grew up on a farm with ten brothers and sisters At the age of 14, she started working as a live-ibabysitter and house cleaner in Salt Lake After graduating from West high she worked as a waitress until she met Fred Wach at the dining room of Utah Copper employees The two were married October 18, 1928, and spent their honeymoon on Beaver Mountain deer hunting They made their home in Hunter, next door to the home where Stella was born and raised The Wachs became the parents of five children They are William Bill, Doug, Marianne (Mrs Ron) Perkins and Dorothy (Mrs LouDell) Reese Robert Butch died as a in a car- pedestrian accident Mrs Wach was widowed in 1968 The two enjoyed sports, softball, golf, bowling and she loves to go fishing She has traveled to Hawaii, Europe, and throughout the United States, has studied oil painting for the last four years and has completed many paintings Her favorite hobby is cooking and for several years she was the ward cook, preparing food for many ward dinners. The honored man was born in 1907, in Center, Colorado, the son of Secundino and Eutimia Gallegos Marquez. He married Rose Montano m October of 1960 in Ely, Nevada Tony became the father of six children. Nelson were hosts at a family dinner in honor of their parents Golden Wedding anniversary on April 21.
