Show $z.uu run YliAK ELECTION OF OFFICERS TO BE HELD BY PARENT-TEAGHER PARENT-TEAGHER ASSOCIATION The annual election of officers for the Parent Teacher association associa-tion will be held at the regular monthly meeting of this organization organiza-tion on Thursday night, March 28th, in the college auditorium. The music department is to furnish fur-nish the program. An attempt will be made to portray the type of work done in the high school and college. The program is to be in three parts, and will be directed by Earl J. Bleak, Clara Woodhouse and Jos. W. McAllister. McAllis-ter. The nominating committee for the officers consists of Mrs. R. Romney, chairman; Miss Larson, teacher at Woodward school and Walter Smith. According to officers of the association, the date for the annual an-nual State P. T. A. convention is set for April 5th, in the New-house New-house Hotel in Salt Lake City. The theme of the convention is "An Index of National Life." At this meeting the election of state officers will be held, and the revision re-vision of the state by-laws will take place. Mrs. Helen Painter, president of the St. George P. T. A. will be one of the speakers at the state convention. Her topic will be, "P. T. A. Activities." It is the desire of the local association that a large number of its officers and members attend at-tend this state convention as they feel that it will serve as a source of information and inspiration for the progress in P. T. A. work for the coming year. An interesting feature of the local meeting, according to the committee in charge, will be an exhibit of work done in the Art and Handicraft adult education class.
