Show WOODWARD SCHOOL On the eighth of January, the music club was organized. Noma Andrus was elected president, J a n i s Schmutz vice-president, Jane Pace, secretary, and Mar-cia Mar-cia McAllister, Genevieve Anderson, Ander-son, Alice Thompson the amusement amuse-ment committee. Mr. Snow's seventh grade has finished its Modern Wlorld Settings Set-tings history book and are now taking an interesting part in the Western explorers. The seventh grade boys of the Woodward school played the boys of the Santa Clara schoool in a game of basketball. Santa Clara played a very good game and won. The score was 9 to 27. Mr. Wtorthen's eighth grade class held election last week. The students were elected as follows: Noma Andrus, .president, Alice Thompson, vice-president, Lela (Sullivan, secretary and treasurer, treas-urer, Grant Fewcett, judge, and Laura' Lytle, LaRaine McArthur, and Keith Hafen on the amusement amuse-ment committee. The members of the faculty held a party last Friday in the Science building. An enjoyable time was' had by everyone. Miss Winsor's third grade We have four in our room who have made a perfect record in spelling every week since school started. They are: Parry Cannon, Clark Hafen, Maurine Bentley, and Beverly Baldwin. Miss Morris is having a Japanese Jap-anese project in our room and we are having such a good time. We are making a sand table, a freeze, a boarder, and many very interesting things. We invite you 'to visit us. |
