Show POPULAR YOUNG COUPLE MARRIED JANUARY 15th High noon on Wednesday, January Jan-uary 15 was the hour chosen for the marriage of Miss Verda Fol-lette Fol-lette to Andrew Pace, son of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Pace. The ceremony cer-emony which took place at the home of the bridegroom's parents, was performed by Bishop Vernon Worthen of the West ward. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, O. A. Follette, of Idaho, was attended by Mrs. George Pace, as Matron-of-honor. George Pace, acted as best man for his brother. Immediately following the ceremony, cer-emony, a wedding breakfast was served to the following guests: Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Follette, Mr. and Mrs. John W. Pace, Mr. and Mrs. George Pace, Mrs. Marie Neil, Miss Lillian Sorenson, Reed Anderson, Vernon Worthen and the bride and groom. The young couple have been honored at several parties during the past week. A dinner party was given by Mr. and Mrs. John W. Pace at 6 o'clock Sunday evening even-ing in the banquet room of the Standard Cafe at which thirty-four thirty-four guests were present. Out of town guests included, Mr. and Mrs. STierman Lamb, Mr. and' Mrs. Henry A. Peterson and Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Follette. I A short program which consisted consist-ed of singing, readings, a mock marriage and toasts to the bride and groom was carried out. Table decorations were of pink and white with a beautiful big wed-J ding cake for a center piece. Mrs. George Pace, Mrs. Nathaniel Nathan-iel Ashby and Miss Evalyrt Harris entertained at a shower in honor of Miss Follette on Monday evening even-ing at the home of Mrs. May B. Harris. Thirty guests were present. pre-sent. Mr. and Mrs. Pace left Wednesday Wednes-day for a honeymoon on the coast. |
