Show Graveside Services Held for Three-Year-Old Verla Jean Blake, St. George Brief graveside services were held Thursday, Oct. 18, at 4 p. m. for Verla Jean Blake, three year t old daughter f Mr. and Mrs. La-Ver La-Ver Blake, who died at the family home in St. George, Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 7:30 a. m. after several hours illness from acute toxemia. Bp. Lewis C. Christian and Counselor Walter A. Pace conducted conduct-ed the service. Musical numbers included in-cluded "Jesus Wants Me For a Sunbeam" and "Beautiful Dreamer" Dream-er" by Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Lar-kin, Lar-kin, and "Sweet and Low" by Mrs. Arthur Paxman and Mrs. Clair Terry. George E. Miles was the speaker and prayers were by Ross Syphus and Arthur Cottam. Burial was in the St. George city cemetery. Born Aug. 11, 1942, she was a daughter of LaVer and Uene Lowe Blake. She is also survived by three brothers, Carl, Richard T. and Ward L. Blake, paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Rol-land Rol-land Blake, all of St. George, and the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Lowe and great-grandmother, great-grandmother, Mrs. Wm. G.
