Show Mrs. William Jones Dies Suddenly At Cedar City CEDAR CITY, Utah. Mrs. William Wil-liam Arthur Jones, 46, died at the Iron county hospital in Cedar City Saturday at 10:30 a.m., of septicemia. sep-ticemia. Funeral services were held in Cedar City at 2 p.m., Monday. She was well-known in this section for her ability and ac-tivties ac-tivties in club and civic work. It will be remembered that Mrs. Jones was guest reader for one of the December Sunday evening book reviews, the St. George stake Tabernacle accommodating the large audience who thrilled to her presentation of the play, "The Watch On the Rhine". With exceptional ex-ceptional talent in this line, Mrs. Jones has given lavishly of her time to the public. The local chapters of the Federation Fed-eration sent representatives to the funeral services in Cedar City. These included Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Cannon and Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Gardner. Many beautiful tributes were paid Mrs. Jones from all over southern Utah. Surviving besides her husband are three daughters, and a son: Mrs. Beldon Lewis of Salt Lake City; Mrs. C. Lloyd Marchant, Betty Lou and Howard Jones, and her mother, Mrs. Charles N. Cor-rey, Cor-rey, all of Cedar City. |
