Show Small Son of Mr. and Mrs. Justin Lamb Dies Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Cannon were advised by telephone last Friday of the death by drowning that morning in Santaquin of their grandson, 17-month-old Robert Rob-ert Justin Lamb, son of Mr. and Mrs. Justin Lamb of that place. Mr. and Mrs. Cannon, their son, Truman and wife, daughters, Muriel Mur-iel and Aileen, and Mrs. Cannon's mother, Mrs. Florence Truman attended at-tended the services held in the Santaquin chapel Sunday at 2 p.m. According to reports the child was playing in the yard with his dog around 9 a. m., and apparently appar-ently attempted to follow h i s sister to school and was drowned in the irrigation ditch a few yards from the home. Mrs. Lamb missed him from the yard and when she called, his dog came, soaking wet. A neighbor answered the mother's call and together they found the baby who had been gone from the yard less than half an hour. Surviving besides his parents, are two sisters, LaDean and Mona Rae, his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. I. H. Lamb of Pioche; his maternal grandparents, grandpar-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Cannon, Can-non, and great-grandmother, Mrs. Florence Truman, all of St. George. |
