Show KICK OF HORSE CAUSES DEATH OF SAMUEL GUBLER Samuel Gubler, pioneer resident of Ivins, died at the Washington County hospital Wednesday night, January 8, from injuries received when he was kicked by a horse just before the Christmas holidays. holi-days. It was thought that Mr. Gubler was recovering but complications compli-cations set in and caused his death. Coming to Ivins .fourteen years ago, with his wife and baby, his family was one of the first three to settle in Ivins. Only two families fam-ilies had preceeded them. In recalling re-calling the early struggles Ivins residents are reminded of th part that Mr. Gubler took in the development de-velopment of this community. According Ac-cording to them it was nothing but safebrush and Mr. Gubler played an important part in bringing the community up to the present standard. He is survived by his wife, Viola Vi-ola Tobler Gubler and the following follow-ing children: Eldon, 15, Betty, 13, Mary, 10, and Donna 2. |
