Show 1 ? The Casual Critic by Daryl Austin Content: Rated PG-13 for mild sensuality and language. While the movie really never shows anything specific or graphic, much is implied as they address adult issues head-on. head-on. Other Opinions: 3,168 "Average Joes" give "Crazy, Stupid, Love" a rating of 8.0 out of 10 while 141 professional profession-al film critics give the film an average score of 75 percent out of 100 percent. Should you see it? Yes, I highly recommend this film. There are several stories going on at once and everyone watching watch-ing should be able to find something some-thing they can relate to. "Crazy, Stupid, Love" Casual Critic Score: 8.5 out of 10 Release Date: July 29, 2011 Rating: PG-13 Length: 1 IS minutes Genre: Romance, Comedy, Drama "Crazy, Stupid, Love" is a celebration of the wide spectrum spec-trum of each emotion that one finds on their journey to and through love. That journey has been portrayed many a time by the hopefuls at Hollywood, but rarely do they get it right. At the end of the day their ability abil-ity to succeed with these types of films always comes down to their casting choices. "Crazy, Stupid, Love" hits the nail right on the head with every single member of the cast. Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling, Ju-lianne Ju-lianne Moore, Emma Stone, Marisa Tomei, Kevin Bacon, and even newbie Jonah Bobo command every scene they are in. I won't go into the details of the plot because there are plenty of fresh twists and turns that I don't want to spoil, but I will say that the scenes in this film are pieced together so well that you'll experience heart-wrenching empathy, em-pathy, excitement, inspiration, and over-the-top fun, sometimes all at once. "Crazy, Stupid, Love" is the rare film in this category that actually gets it all right. |
