Show Christmas Party Is Bi Event c Successful in every way, the Christmas Party of the Sugar House Chamber of Commerce was held last Tuesday evening at El Rancho Inn. H. Scott Linnell, chairman of the party, with Hiram Young, club president, arranged details for the program, which consisted of introducing members and all guests, introducing the lovely snow queen to the group and presenting pre-senting tokens to the young woman wo-man and the committeemen who selected her. No speeches were scheduled nor program numbers until eleven o'clock, when the talented young dancers of the I El Rancho Inn staged a floor show. Highlight of the evening took place when the entire group, joined join-ed by other parties at the inn, pledged allegiance to the Flag of the United States and sang, "The Star Spangled Banner." The salute sa-lute was doubly impressive as it was led by two army officers who happened to be at the inn. m |
