Bird was in charge. j A mixed Quartet from the First ward sang. "Come Unto Me," proceeding pro-ceeding the invocation, which was given by .JohuS. Croesbeck. A duet, '"Thy Kingdom of Love," was sung by Sarah Iiamsey and Prof. J. P. Knshard of Provo. The first speaker was Patriarch O. P. Huntington, who gave a sketch of the life of Mr. Carter. Following this, Frank F.jarnson , sang. "Piock of Ages.'' ! The second speaker was J. L. Nielv son of Fountain Green, who spoke ' of his acquaintance with the deceased de-ceased and eulogized bis character. Mrs. Uamsey and Professor Bosh- ard sang, 'T Know that My Ke deemer Lives." The Mapleton male quartet sang. '"TIh; Vacant Chair," after which |
