Show DAVID CLYDE LAIDAT REST Funeral services for David Clyde. ,vho died Friday in a Salt Lake hospital, hos-pital, were held iu the Springville First wurd chapel Monday at 2:00 o'clock. Bishop Kminett Bird was in charge. A mixed quartet, consisting of Helen Mnmvaring, Jennie Erickson, Wilbur Allen and Glen Allen, sung "Lead Me Gently Home," preceding preced-ing the invocation by Orson Hutchinson. Hutch-inson. Miss Jennie Erickson sang "Absent." The speakers were Patriarch O. B. Huntington and President G. R. Maycock. Miss Melba Condie song "Resignation," "Resig-nation," and Will Peterson gave the benediction. Phillip Houtz, of Provo, offered the dedicatory prayer in the Evergreen Ever-green cemetery, where interment was iu charge of A. Y. Wheeler. Mr. Clyde was CO years of age. He had been a carpenter for a number num-ber of years and had lived in this city nil bis life. He was injured in the Cardiff mine in Cottonwood canyon four years ago and had been iu ill health ever since. He is survived by his widow, one daughter, Mrs. William Nobeker of Buffalo, N. T. ; two sons, Donald and Fred, of Springville; also the following brothers and sisters, Mrs. W. O. Packard and Mrs. W. L. Duggnn of Santa Anna. Cnl.; Mrs. P. E. Houtz of Provo; John Clyde of Sandy, Joe Clyde of Idaho, Al. Clyde of Provo Bench, and Mrs, W. E. Beardall of Springville. |
