Show REPUBLICANS OF SPRINGVILLE Pursuant to a call of Precinct Chairman John 11. Anderson, a Ke-publicaiv Ke-publicaiv primary was held in the Springville city hall, Tuesday evening, even-ing, April 22. Mr. Anderson acted i as chairman and John S. Groesbeck I acted as secretary, i Thomas Latimer, Mont Johnson, j D. A. Crandall, Nephi Straw, John ; R. Anderson and John S. Groesbeck were elected delegates to attend the ! Republican state convention to he . held in Provo, May 9, 1024, at 10 I o'clock n. m., and M. O. Packard, M. i R. Straw, Mary J. Finley, Mrs. Jen-; Jen-; nie Starr, C. A. Starr and J. F. j Bringhurst were elected delegates to attend the Republican congressional ; coirvention to be held in Provo on the same date at 2:30 p. m. It was voted that the delegates to the congressional convention should act as alternates to the state convention and and that the delegates dele-gates to the state convention should act as alternates to the congressional congression-al convention. The state convention is for the purpose of electing 7 delegates of the state at large to the Republican national convention to be held at Cleveland, Ohio, June 10. 1024 and the congressional convention is for the purpose of electing two delegates dele-gates of the second congressional district at large to the Republican national convention. Springville is entitled to G delegates dele-gates and G voles in each of the conventions. |
