William Simons of the Payson post announces that a minstrel show would be given by the Pay-sou Pay-sou post to procure funds for the convention. EIFLE CLT'B IS PLANNED BY SPANISH FORK POST SPANISH FORK, April 21. Kirk M. Decker, state department service officer of the American Legion, was present nt the meeting of the Spanish Fork post of the American Legion held Friday night at the Legion hall. Mr. Decker gave the members of the post some instruction along the line of preparing for the coming state convention to be held here in August. Instruction as to the method of organizing a rifle club was given by Commander Harry Tipton of the Payson post. The club wTill be under the supervision of the United States Rifle association. A club already al-ready has been organized at Payson. Rifles and ammunition are furnished furnish-ed by the government, free of charge, to encourage the members |
