Show FUNERAL HELD SUNDAY FOR RAILROAD MAN Funeral services were conducted at the A. Y. Wheeler mortuary Sunday afternoon for Samuel Edward Ed-ward Wagner, 69, retired railroad man of this city, who died Friday Fri-day following a two weeks' illness at the family residence, 247 East Third South street. Burial was ln the Evergreen cemetery. He was born June 18, 1873 in Clay county, Kansas, and during his early life followed railroading in that vicinity. Later he moved to LeGrande, Ore., to continue railroad rail-road work. He married Elizabeth Jane Larson, June 4, 1926, at LeGrande. Le-Grande. They had made their home in Springville since 1940. Surviving, besides his widow, are five brothers and sisters: Dave Wagner of Salina, Kans.; Cal Wagner, Wag-ner, Mrs. Emma Staley and Mrs. Annie Francis of Junction City, Kans.; Mrs. Pearl Abbett of Wil-burten, Wil-burten, Okla. |
