Qouple to Celebrate (jolden Wedding Date Mr. and Mrs. Adelbert Conover of this city, will celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of their marriage mar-riage quietly at their home, Sunday. Sun-day. They were married in Springville, Spring-ville, July 2, 1894, and in 1915, received their endowments in the Salt Lake temple. They have lived liv-ed in Springville all of their married life. Mr. Conover was born in Springville, January 12, 1874, a son of John and Emma Richardson Richard-son Conover. He has lived here always. His wife was born in Spanish Fork, September 5, 1877, a daughter of Robert M. and Emily Stocker Boyack. Mr. Conover was a member of the first volunteer fire department in Springville in 1910, and continued con-tinued service in the organization until 1928. The couple have a hobby of raising flowers and they have won many prizes and ribbons in city and county fairs and exhibitions for their entries of flowers and also bottled fruits. Both have been active in church work, and Mrs. Conover has been a Relief Society teacher 33 years. They have six sons and daughters, daugh-ters, Mrs. H. J. Maiben of Monte-bello, Monte-bello, Calif.; Bert Conover and Richard M. Conover, Springville; Mrs. Alvin J. Jensen, Provo; Lewis Earl Conover, Reno, Nev.; Howard Donald Conover, Bountiful; Bounti-ful; also 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. |
