' i I - . - . . . , . 1 Mr. and Mrs. Keith Beardall Reception Honors Newly weds Friday; Plan to Make a Home in Huntington Charming Miss Maurine Spratling, daughter of Mrs. Allan Spratling of West Jordan, became the bride of Keith Beardall, son of Mrs. Zelma Beardall of this city, on Thursday, July 17, in the Manti LDS Temple. In their honor a wedding reception recep-tion was given in the Third-Ninth ward church on Friday evening, attended by many relatives and friends of the couple. They greeted their guests before be-fore a huge bouquet of white gladioli and pink asters between double candelabra. The bride was lovely in a gown of heavy white slipper satin which sho had designed herself. It had a fitted bodice designed with tiny covered buttons from neck to center cen-ter front. The dainty stand-up' collar col-lar and lower half of the long, i pointed sleeves were of delicate 1giq flnfvrJann-Hi e,TriTf t . background organ music and vocal numbers were given by Miss Norma Nor-ma Weight, Mrs. Ruth Beardall and Howard Beardall; trio, consisting con-sisting of Ann Marie Fry, Doreen Schouten and Janice Sargent; violin vio-lin selection by Agnes Weibell of West Jordan and accordion solo by Ann Gardner of Spanish Fork. Both the bride and groom are graduates of BYU. The new Mrs. Beardall has been teaching home economics at the Spanish Fork Junior high school and making her home in Springville. Following a honneymoon to Yellowstone Yel-lowstone Park, they will make their home in Huntington, Utah where the groom is employed as soil conservationist. in full gathers from the waist. Her fingertip veil was of nylon tulle held with a crown of braided satin entwined with seed pearls. She carried a bouquetof a large orchid with pink ro'sebuds and stephanotis. Attendants were her sister, Miss Gwen Spratling, maid of honor, and Mrs. John Swenson and Mrs. Elwood Haymond. They wore ballerina bal-lerina length gowns all in identical identi-cal style and varying shades of grren designed and made by the bride, as was the dress worn by the groom's mother. They carried heart-shaped bouquets of pink nylon net centered with pink rosebuds rose-buds and 'white asters. Mrs. Spratling chose a color of dusty rose mesh crepe, while the groom's mother appeared in a pink nylon model. They wore corsages of white glamelias and stephanotis. stephan-otis. .. Performing the duties of best man for the groom was Creed Weight. , Greeting guests at the door were Mr.- and Mrs. D. LaRell Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. Andrew G. Peterson. Pet-erson. In charge of the guest book were Carol Beardall and Collette Palfreyman. In charge of the gift room were Mrs. Florence Beardall, Mrs. Ruth Beardall, Miss Leona Peterson and Mrs. Nora Aylett. Hostesses in the serving .room were Mrs. Grace Baker and Mrs. W J. Galbraith, assisted by friends of the bride from the Spanish Fork Junior high school Phyllis Hansen, Han-sen, Irene Hansen, Ruth Ann Bradford, Brad-ford, Norma Smart, Katherine Larsen and Ann Banks. Carrying gifts were Mary Kay Johnson and LuAnn Harmer.
