Johnson, former residents of Mapleton for many years and now residing resid-ing in Spanish Fork, was wed to Elaine Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brown of that city in a double ring ceremony performed Sept. 28. With a background of soft music, flowers and candlelight, the double ring ceremony was performed at the home of the bride by J. Angus Christensen. Christen-sen. The bride was given in' marriage by her father. Witnessing: Wit-nessing: the rites were mem- of American Fork. Vocal selections sel-ections were offered by Mrs. Don Searles, of American Fork. She was accompanied by Mrs. Brown. A small reception for the guests followed the ceremony with Mrs. Searles and Mrs. Ella Andelin of Idaho Falls in charge. Misses Nelda Harwood Ann Carter, Arlene Barnett, Joyce Pierce, Donna Hanks and Ann Creer assisted in the serving. A beautiful wedding cake centered the serving table. I Mr. and Mrs. Walter Johnson bers of the two families and a feW close friends. For her wedding attire, the bride chose a two-piece ensemble en-semble of winter pink, with crystal trim and plum colored accessories. Her flowers were twelve baby orchids. Miss Ann Creer was her only attendent. Her dress was of a lovely shade of green. Stanley Hutchings stood as best man. Appropriate background music mu-sic was furnished during the evening by Mrs. Isabel Bird |
