Mr. and Mrs. Rex Lynn Jones ; -V ; " ' Rex Lynn Jones Takes Provo Bride In Home Rites Performed Mar. 27 Rex Lynn Jones of this city, a son of Mr. and Mrs. George Jones, bade farewell to his bride of one week Sunday, when he left for San Ysidro, Calif., and overseas assignment. He -married Miss Carma Bott of Provo, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Bott, March 27, at the home of the bride's parents, with J. Earl Lewis president of West Utah Stake, performing the ceremony. cere-mony. Attending were immediate family members and close friends. For her wedding, the bride chose a ballerina length frock of white lace over satin, made with a scalloped scal-loped neck and long sleeves. Her veil of net was bordered in lace and she carried an orchid surrounded sur-rounded by stephanotis. Dorothea Edmunds acted as maid of honor appearing in a ballerina length gown of pale green with corsage of orange-toned roses. Jack Jones of Springville, brother broth-er of the groom, was best man. Others in the line included parents of the bride and groom. Mrs. Bott and Mrs. Jones wore dark blue for the wedding. An informal .party followed the ceremony and refreshments were served to approximately twenty people attending. The couple honeymooned away for a few days. ' The bride plans to return to Provo High School to complete her senior year. Rex is a former student of the Springville high school and has nearly two years still to serve with Uncle Sam. In a phone call Monday of this week, he stated that he has been given another 16-day : furlough which he plans to spend in- Utah. During the time an open house reception re-ception is planned to honor the young couple. |
