Show FUNERAL HELD MONDAY FOR LOCAL WOMAN Funeral services were conducted Monday in the Fourth ward chapel for Mrs. Esther Mae Condie Crandall, Cran-dall, 64, widow of John Crandall, Jr., who died at her home Thursday. Thurs-day. She had been in ill health for some time. Burial was in Evergreen cemetery, ceme-tery, directed by the Berg mortuary. mortu-ary. Mrs. Crandall was born in Springville, November 4, 1880, a daughter of Gibson S. and Esther Palfreyman Condie. She had lived here most of her life and had been active in church affairs. For a number of years, she served as stake Primary president and previously prev-iously was president of the Fourth ward Primary organization. She had served as a Sunday School teacher and at one time was a member of the superintendency. She was also active in Relief Society, Soci-ety, serving as a teacher. Her husband, to whom she was married in the Salt Lake temple Sept. 25, 1906, died Dec. 30, 1936. Survivors include a son, G. Condie Con-die Crandall, who came from Fort Knox, Ky.( wiere he is stationed with the U. S. Army; seven brothers broth-ers and sisters, Mrs. Lena May-cock, May-cock, Earl and Kenneth Condie, Springville; Richard Condie, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Hannah Packard, American Fork, Mrs. Lillian Lewis, Lew-is, Overton, Nev., Mrs. Melba Osmond, Os-mond, Washington, D. C. |
