Show Services Held . . . Mrs. Sarah Dalton Funeral Services Held Toes, for Mrs, Sarah Dalton Funeral services weer held Tuesday Tues-day in the Second ward chapel for Mrs. Sarah Clements Dalton, 86, who died Saturday morning at the family residence, 525 South Second East of ailments incident to age. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery, ceme-tery, directed by A. Y. Wheeler and Son Mortuary. Mrs. Dalton was born in Springville Spring-ville . June 6, 1869, a daughter of John and Elizabeth Gabbitas Clements. Cle-ments. She attended schools in Springville and was married to Alonzo Dalton December 24, 1889. Their marriage was later solom- nized in the LDS temple. She had made her home in Springville practically her entire life and had been active in church work. She served as Relief Society teacher in the First and Second wards and had also worked in the Primary, Genealogy and Sunday School. She was a member of Camp Kolob DUP and with her husband served a number of years on the Black Hawk committee. Mr. Dalton Dal-ton died in 1928. She was the mother of nine sons and daughters with six surviving (Continued on page 2) Funeral Services Held For Mr. Reed (Continued from page 1) LDS Church holding the office of high priest at the time of his passing, pass-ing, and has served in' the MIA, the Genealogical committee, and as a teacher in the Sunday School. He served a mission in the Northern North-ern States and was in the army during World War I. He was a member of the American Legion. Survivors include his wife and four sons and daughters: Ralph Reed, Ely, Nev.; Mrs. Grant (Evelyn) (Eve-lyn) Robbins, Springville; .Martin Reed, Springville; James Reed, Fort St. Johns, British Columbia, serving on an LDS mission. Also three sisters: Miss Alice Reed, San-ford, San-ford, Colo.; Mrs. H. D. Cornum, Sanford, Colo.; Mrs. Hettie Bates, Butte, Mont. |
