Show MRS, WM. PARRY DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS Mrs. Carrie Oakley Parry, 57, wife of William L. Parry of this city, died at 6 p. m., Tuesday at the family residence, First South and First West street. She had been in ill health for some time. Mrs. Parry was born in Springville, Spring-ville, May 19, 1881, a daughter of James and Fannie Palfreyman Oakley, early Springville pioneers. She has resided in Springville most of her life. She was married to Mr. Parry in the Salt Lake temple, November 27, 1907. During Dur-ing their early married life they lived at Price and Helper, where she took an active part in community com-munity affairs. She has been active in churc'h work here, especially in primary and Relief Society organizations. She was a member of Camp Springville Daughters of Pioneers. Pio-neers. Surviving besides her husband, are one daughter, Mildred Parry, of Springville; a sister, and four brothers, Mrs. Daniel Sumsion; Delos, Ernest and Ami Oakley of Springville; Lewis Oakley of Provo. Funeral services will be announced an-nounced later. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery, under the direction of Claudin funeral home. |
