Show Dr. Earl Reynolds dies on coast Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in the Long Beach, Calif., LDS ward for Dr. Earl W. Reynolds, 62, son of Mrs. Ella Reynolds of this city, who died Monday morning in California of a lingering lin-gering illness. He was born in Springville, a son of Jesse O. and Ella Wheeler Reynolds and attended attend-ed schools here and at the BYU. He received his degree from the University of Southern South-ern California dental school, and practiced in Provo until 1944, when he moved to California. Cali-fornia. His first wife, LaVem Crosby Cros-by Reynolds of Provo, died in July 1955 and he married a Mrs. Woods in California in 1957. A veteran of World War I, he was active in American Legion Le-gion affairs having been commander com-mander of the Provo Post. He was also the organizer of the Provo Drum and Bugle Corps. He was a member of the Ute Last Squad, an organization of World War I veterans and during dur-ing his last visit in Utah a year ago, attended a reunion of the organization in Provo. He is survived by his wife; also one daughter Virginia, by his first marriage; his mother and two sisters, Mrs. John Y. (Birdella) Bearnson of Springville,' Spring-ville,' and Mrs. V. Cornell (Bess) Mendenhall of Las Ve- gas, Nev. |
