Show KING WINTER PREVAILS IN MIDDLEWEST CHICAGO, Mnrch 31. (UP) The mlddlewest todny continued In the grip of an unsensonnble blizzard which already has resulted in eight lives lost and a score of accidents. Three persons were killed in Chicago Chi-cago in accidents while four were killed in Wisconsin, owing to the blinding snow which prevented clear vision while motoring. The entire middlewestern region from the mountains to Ohio and from the Lakes south todny is blanketed high with snow and there will be no relief for the next 24 hours, the weather bureau reported. Snowfall in the region during the past 24 hours ranged between four and seven inches. In Chicago today the driving snow storm had changed to rain, but the United States weather bureau bu-reau reported that snow accompanied accompan-ied by high winds would continue for the next 24 hours., The entire city is blanketed and drifted high and more than COO workmen rounded round-ed up by the city to fight the mounds of snow, which block the streets were at work. The three persons killed here indirectly in-directly by the storm were in motor car accidents.
