The class runs from 4-5 p.m. We will be '• Weddings introducing children to some great chapter books. We will have fun activities. Books and prizes will be given away monthly. Have you seen a Funasaurus? If you haven't, you won't want to miss our first "Family Night Story Time" of the season on Oct. 8, 2007 at 6:30 p.m. A few time changes to note: Oct. 13, 2007 is the "Harvest Moon Hoorah." Library-hours will be from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Also, on Oct. 31, 2007 the library will close at - 5 p.m. •;' Parents, it's once again 'time to sign up for our • fall Read-to-Me Program. ' [this year's theme is "Who • Stole the Treats from the Cookie Jar?" This program ; is for children who cannot ; read for themselves. What ; a great way to introduce your children to our library! More importantly, it will help instill a life-Jong love of reading. ;. ABC Kids sign-ups start again on Oct.l, 2007. This class focuses on the six early literacy skills as recommended by the National and State Library Associations. These skills are important toachikTs V-.'1.' You are invited to share in their day of happiness by attending a reception held in their honor that evening from 7-9 p.m. at the Benjamin LDS Church at 3278 West 7300 South Benjamin. Shantel graduated from Spanish Fork High School and is currently attending cosmetology school. Caleb graduated from Spanish Fork High School and is currently attending Utah Sheet Metal Education Training. They will make their home in Lake Shore. Grandparents of the Bride are Tom and Sherri Shepherd, Andy Gurule. Grandparents of the groom are Richard and Janet Ericksen, and Elnora Williams and the late Reed Williams. Great-grandmas are Rose Bona and MaryDean Ericksen. If in our excitement we have missed inviting anyone, please feel free to come and enjoy our celebration. ; The Utah Valley Children's Choir, based in Spanish 'VFork since 1982, is going to be having ifs first annual ., Alumni Gala Concert on Oct. 27, 2007 from 7-9pm at * the Provo Covey Performing Arts Center. We are trying to get contact information on as many former choir members as possible so that everyone who has sung ' with the choir in the last 25 years can come and share memories, make music and mingle. They have chosen to be sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple on Thursday, Sept. 27. The marriage will take place in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. A reception will honor the couple that evening from 6-8:30 p.m. at the Monty and Julia Andrus residence, 1860 East Forrest Bend Drive, Salt Lake City. Aaron and Stephanie invite all family and friends to help them celebrate. Stephanie is the daughter of Bret R. and i&$ii Joyce Andrus of Cottonwood Heights. She graduated from Brighton High School and is currently attending Brigham Young University. Aaron is the son of David and Kathy Treanor of Chandler, Ariz, and Jane and Michael Hess of Payson. He graduated from Spanish Fork High Schooi and attended UVSC and the University of Utah after serving an LDS mission in Fort Worth, Texas. The couple will make their first home in Pleasant Grove. The couple were married Saturday, Sept. 15 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were honored that evening with a family dinner and dance at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. The couple are now honeymooning in Cancun. Upon their return, the families would like to further honor them at a garden reception on Saturday, Sept. 29 at the home of the groom's parents, 296 North 1070 East Spanish Fork. All friends and family are invited to attend. In case of inclement weather the reception will be held at the LDS Chapel located on 400 North and 800 East in Spanish Fork. Julia is a graduate of East wood High School and LDS Seminary in El Paso, Texas. She has attended BYU Idaho and is currently attending the University of Utah. Preston is a graduate of Spanish Fork High School and LDS Seminary. He also served a LDS Mission to the Ecuador Gauyaquil South Mission. He is currently attending UVSC and is employed by Retro Rides of Spanish Fork. Preston's Grandparents are Louis and June Palombo, and LeOra and the late Clarence Taylor, all of Spanish Fork. The couple have planned to make their home in Pleasant Grove, where they have purchased their first house.
