'Round and About Benjamin Namon Bills / Spanish Fork News Obituary Dean F. Hughes Dean F. Hughes, who at 102 was the oldest living resident of Salem, passed away at his home on Sept. 20. He was born Feb. 1, 1905 in Spanish Fork and has lived in Salem since 1943. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and was a high priest. He retired from Del Monte after working for 40 years. Dean was preceded in death by his wife, Flora, who passed away in 1992, after 62 years of marriage. knew him.
