Area businesses have been approached by people/companies soliciting money for posters for our Athletic Department Usually promoting schedule posters, explaining to the business the money is going to our school. It is not! They take your money, make a very simple poster, then run; none of the money goes to us. They are very slick and make the donors feel comfortable giving them money, and guilty if they don't. -&-V ••;lf you have any question about whether or not they are legitimate please call Doug Snell at 7984060 or the other schools' Athletic Directors or Principals. Our schools want and need your money and you should be careful about donating, so don't hesitate to call.l--1 v t i&r:&r > :-; L ••'•&%£*' Another solicitation you should be aware of is the 'Don' card, 'Skyhawk' card, 'Eagle' card, or any other High School marketing card for sale. Please help us by buying a card, but be sure you know who you are buying from. Simply ask the student/ athlete who approaches you which school he/she represents and hopefully you will be able to help the school of your choice.
