The parents of Connor are Michael Ben Holley and Michelle Jensen Holley. Grandparents are Paul and Linda Jensen of Spanish Fork and Earline Holley and the late Ben R. Holley. He also has lots of aunts and uncles. Mark T. Lewis of Spanish Fork will turn 80 years old on June 18. An open house will be held in his honor on June 21, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. We would like to invite ail of his friends and families to celebrate at an open house on this special occasion. Marvin and Viva Bird were married June 20,1958 in the Salt Lake Temple. An open house will be held on Sat- urday, June 21, 2008 from 6-8 in the evening at the new Mapleton City Hall, located at 125 West 400 North in Mapleton. Hansen, Colledge Judy Hansen of Lehi is proud to announce the marriage of her daughter, Lalina Hansen, to Kenneth Colledge, son of Eugene and Marilyn Colledge of Spanish Fork. She has three sisters, Abbie, Ashlynne, and Lillie, and three brothers, Kaden, Chandler, and Cameron. She loves to talk, be outside with all the kids and watch SpongeBob. Kaitlyn's mommy and daddy are Cody and Jennie Mitchell of Spanish Fork. Achievement Jonathan Blaine Swenson Jonathan Blaine Swenson, son of Jerald and Lorene Swenson, received his Doctor of Medicine degree Saturday May 31, 2008 at the historic Mechanics Hall in Worcester, Massachusetts. Jonathan studied at SABA University School of Medicine, Saba, Netherlands-Antilles and at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City. He has accepted a residency position at the University of Arkansas and will specialize in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. This field of medicine specializes in the management of patients with chronic disabling disorders, such as chronic pain, strokes, spinal cord injury, and geriatrics. Jonathan is married to Andrea Degraw, daughter of Mark and Pam Degraw of Payson. He and Andrea and their three children will reside in Little Rock, Ark. for four years while Jonathan continues his training. Eagle Scout Greg Ryan Foy Greg Ryan Foy, son of Clay and Bonnie Foy, received his Eagle Scout award at a special Eagle Scout Court of Honor held at the Benjamin Church on Sunday evening, June 8, 2008. The Court was under the direction of former scoutmaster, Duane Lundell,ofTroop98. The colors and the Pledge of Allegiance were presented by members of Troop 98. The scout oath was given by Jordan Lundell, and the scout law was recited by Brian Penrod. The Eagle Court consisted of Eric Oxborrow and Denton Worthington, both members of the troop committee. The symbols of the Eagle badge were explained by Duane Lundell. A short video presentation of Greg's life was shown, and his grandfathers, Leo Foy and Don Scoffield, gave remarks directed to Greg. The Eagle Scout Charge was given to the scout after which the Eagle badge presentation was made by Greg's father, Clay Foy. Special pins were also presented to Greg's parents and to the person Greg considered his mentor in scouting, Duane Lundell. The evening ended with light refreshments. Greg's Eagle project consisted of digging a well for the Lake Shore Park to help keep the grass watered. |
