Show Popular Couple Married at 'Home- ArRETTT home wedding of last evening: eve-ning: was that of Miss Evelyn Tempest and Paul U. Baasett, which took place at the homo of the bride's sister, Mrs. G. II. Lucas, on Ninth East street. The wedding took place at 7:30 o'clock and was followed by a reception re-ception from S until 11 o'clock. The bridal party stood under a canopy of snillax studded with white flowers. On either side were tall baskets of Shasta daisies. Kerns wero banked behind, forming a summery bower. Dorothy Perkins roses were used in the music , room. A color scheme of yellow and while was used in the dining-room, a basket of coreopsis and gypsophila forming form-ing the centerpiece for the table. In the receiving line were Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Lucas, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bassett, Sr.," Miss Grace Tempest, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Tempest and Mr. and Mrs. R. Brenton Tempest. Miss Alice Purefoy and Miss Lucillo Far ns worth were in the dining-room. The house was decorated with flowers and vines. A bower was arranged ar-ranged in the library for the bridal party. A wedding reception was given last evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest E. Ridges on West Third North street, in honor of their daughter. Erma. whose marriage to Ernest Blackmore took place yesterday morning in the Salt Lake temple. The reception rooms were decorated with pink roses and Shasta daisies. The tea table was covered with a cluny cloth over pink and the centerpiece was a crystal crys-tal basket of pink sweet peas and white marguerites. White took place yesterday in the Salt Lake temple, and was followed by a reception in the evening at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wil-lard Wil-lard Hansen, Jr.. on Lincoln avenue. To celebrate the birthday of her little daughter, Mignon, Mrs. Don S. Campbell entertained yesterday afternoon at her home on Tenth avenue. Miss Gladys Christensen of Logan, who has spent a few days in the city, left yesterday afternoon for New York, where she will fulfill a mission for the L. D. S. church. Mrs. Ellis Johnson and daughter, Dovie Marlon, returned the early part of this week from a visit in Oakland, San Francisco Fran-cisco and San Jose, Cal. Mrs. W. D. McDonald and baby daughter, daugh-ter, Marjorie, of Chicago are visiting with Mrs. McDonald's parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Naisbitt.
