Show Application for Patent. Notice No. 1,380. . Uitcted States Lasd Office. Salt Lake City, Utah, December 24 1885. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT HENRY F. Samson, of Salt Lake Cityfttah haa made application for a United States patent for the Lena minin ?laim, situate in West Monn-tam Monn-tam Mining District, Salt Lake county, Utah Territory, consisting of 1,500 linear Yeet of ' the lode, and surface ground 194.85 feet wid being Lot Jo. 362, and described in the field notes and plat of the official survey on file in this office, with magnetic variation at 17 degrees de-grees east, as follows : Commencing at post No 1, a corner of the claim, from which U. S. Mineral Min-eral Monument No. 5 bears north 35 decree 41 minutes west 1,171.6 feet distant, and running thence north 26 degrees east 725 feet to Post No 2: thence north 51 degrees east 775 feet to Post No. 3: thence south 55 degrees east 200 feet to Post No. 4; thence south 51 degrees west 775 feet to Post No. 5;. thence south 26 degrees west 725 leet to Post No. ; thence north 55 degrees west 200 feet to Post No. 1, the place of beginning of "tenor bounds, expressly excepting and excluding, ex-cluding, however, from the above described area so much thereof as is embraced and included in-cluded in the Jordan, Lot 64: Flagstaff Lot 149-Croesus, 149-Croesus, Lot 51; Horace Greely, Lot i42; Tj,st Chance, Lot IS; Last Chance, Lot 157; the area claimed being 5.19 acres. The said minin claim being of record In the office of the Re' corder of said mining district at Bingham, in Salt Lake county, Utah. The nearest known locations being the Jordan, Lot 64: Flagstaff Lot 149; Croesus, Lotol: Hooper, Lot 266; Horace trreeiy. Lot 142; Last Chance, Lot 4.S; and Last Chance, Lot 157, claims in said mining district I direct that this notice be published in the Salt Lake Evening Democrat, the newspaper published nearest the said mining claim for the period of sixty days. t t, .
