Show MARRIED IN ELKO Mrs. Betty Johnston, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Caldwell, Cald-well, and Edwin Richman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Richman of Roosevelt, were married Dec. 1, at Elko, Nevada. Mrs. Sarah Norton visited with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Norton of Roosevelt Roose-velt recently. Mrs. Thurmer Rasmussen is in Salt Lake City at the home of heT daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lowe. She is receiving rec-eiving medical attention. Harvey Lee is home from Artesiaj Colo, with his mother, Mrs. Rhoda Ann Lee. Mr. and Mrs. George Bigelow were visitors Monday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Elroy Wilkins and family in Roosevelt. Margaret Huber, from Provo is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer (Dutch) Huber. She attended the wedding dance of Mr. and Mrs. Alden Hempstreet. Margaret is attending at-tending the BYU. Keith Walker from Provo is visiting his parents, Bishop and Mrs. Lee Walker and family. Georgie, Ira, Jimmie and Petro Forakis from Salt Lake attended the funeral for Mike Kastrinakis Monday at the ward chapel. .Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Ottosen and son of Haywood, Calif., are guests of Mrs. Ottosen's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Orvill Swain. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Anderson were in Roosevelt Friday. Barbara Nyberg visited her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Neldon Nyberg of Roosevelt Fri. WEDDING DANCE A shower and a wedding dance was given in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Alden Hempstreet Thurs. evening. The Hempstreet orchestra furnished furnish-ed the music. CLUB HAS A PARTY The Sunshine Birthday Club held a Christmas party at the home of Mrs. Lillie Bigelow Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Bigelow from Provo were recent visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Charley Bigelow, and attended the weding of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Anderson last Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Searle and children from Leota visited Mr. and Mrs. Rile Blackburn during the week. |
