Show Miss Kay Timothy Will Become Bride In Home Ceremony Saturday Evening Miss Kay Timothy has circled-Saturday, circled-Saturday, June 2, as the date to pledge marriage vows with John (Jack) S. Burgess, the wedding to take place at the home of the bride's parents who announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage- Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Burgess, of Roosevelt. A reception will compliment com-pliment the newlyweds the same .evening between the hours of 7:30 and 10:30 at the Roosevelt stake house. The bride-elect graduated with the class of '56 from Union High School, where she has been popular pop-ular in school affairs. Titles of the Harvest Ball Queen and the FHA Sweetheart have been bestowed be-stowed on Miss Timothy during the past year. She was a member of the Pep Club and graduated from the LDS Seminary in '54. She is employed at the Modern Drug Company. Mr. Burgess is a graduate of Union High School and attended Snow College at Ephraim before entering the U. S. Navy as a Naval Nav-al Reserve. He spent three years in the service, several months of which were in Japan. He plans to attend an Aeronics School in Kansas Kan-sas following his marriage. A trip to the northwest is being planned by the young couple for their honeymoon, before going to Kansas, where they will make their home for the present. |
