Show Neola Woman Dies, Husband Stricken Mrs. Marie Allred Conn, 22, Neola, died this morning in the Roosevelt hospital following an illness of only a few hours duration. dur-ation. Her husband, George M. Conn, has been taken to a Salt Lake hospital, apparently suffering suf-fering from the same illness. Both became ill Wednesday afternoon. At the onset of the affliction, Mrs. Conn's throat became paralyzed and she began be-gan choking. The paralysis grew progressively worse and she died at 6 a. m. this morning. The paralysis blinded Mr. Conn and also caused him to choke. Mrs. Conn was born in Neola, Ne-ola, October 20, 1926, a daughter daugh-ter of James Wesley and Fern M. Mitchell Allred. She married mar-ried George M. Conn in Neola January 17. 1946. Since her marriage mar-riage she and Mr. Conn lived one year in Colorado and had lived in Vernal for a short time. She was an active member of the LDS church. A graduate of Roosevelt high school, she completed a course at Heap Beauty school in Ogden and worked for a time in Ogden Og-den as a beautician. She had also worked at the Clearfield Navy Base for 2V2 years prior to her marriage. She is survived by her husband, hus-band, her parents, Neola; three brothers, Arvis M. Allred. Roosevelt; Roos-evelt; Aral and 'Howard Allred, Neola; four sisters, Mrs. Elva Smith, Provo, Helen, Beth and Mona Allred, Neola; grandparents. grandpar-ents. Mrs. S. E. Allred.
